We have a nice 1976 Triumph TR6 VIN CF57694LO for sale. This is the very last year for the TR6 model. This car is finished in the one year only Inca Yellow, which I personally like better than any of the other paler shades that were used in prior years. This car is also equipped with the most desirable optional overdrive transmission which allows for much more relaxed highway cruising RPM’s. The car is an Oregon car and still has it’s now vintage original plates from the 70’s still fitted. I acquired this car a few years back from an estate when the long-term (possibly original) owner passed away. The car has not had any adverse history nor was it owned by kids that tend to beat these cars up. This Triumph has been fully serviced and the engine bay detailed. Our shop removed the dash wood so we could have Madera Concepts in California reveneer the dash with Rolls Royce quality burled walnut. It is much nicer looking than the cheap and bland teak the factory used. We completely rebuilt both the seats in the O.E. materials and original pattern with all new foam to be sure seats support properly. The carpets have been replaced so the car interior looks very close to factory. The top is also brand new and is the proper style with the reflective stripe. The body and chassis are in good condition with no signs of accident damage. The stripe kit is an option the factory supplied original, and includes the rarely installed hood stripes. Paint has good gloss with minor chips and scratches.
The rear black panel that always fades has been repainted in a proper semi gloss and looks very nice. Chrome is good. This is a nice solid original car that drives very well. It has had the suspension front and rear components rebuilt and rebushed where needed, and the differential has been out and the weak factory mounting was reinforced. A high quality rear tube shock kit has been installed. This TR6 starts and runs smooth with excellent oil pressure, good power and nice quiet gearbox – including an overdrive that functions properly. The radio does not have speakers hooked up and is about the only thing that is needed to enjoy this car. If you are looking for a fairly priced, nice driver TR6 with rare overdrive, this is an excellent car for you.
