Austin Healey Hinges 100-4

Trent is restoring the hinges on an Austin Healey 100-4. We are fitting the body for the first assembly of many. The door fit on a Healey is critical. If the gaps change it ruins the lines of the car and door function can be an issue. We have seen lots of them done wrong, and it creates a real problem because it is so core to the car. Once it is painted and final assembled, trying to go back and correct door fit on a Healey is near impossible. They will change shape over time and the of course the pins wear and the pins are usually frozen in the hinge. Trent is reshaping them as well as installing new pins and bushings along with the correct Oilite bushings between the hinges. We make the new pins machine them for correct fit.
